One of the biggest adjustments to be made when I moved to Italy was the internet situation - not only did I have no internet for almost three months when I first moved here, but I found out my apartment was incapable of it entirely without knocking out a 400 year old wall. Thus, the internet “key”, a rechargeable USB stick, became my saving grace. Alas, the options are limited here as well. Each month I pay for “one month unlimited” which is actually one month of unlimited internet… with a limit of 10 GB.
Welcome to Italy.
I blew my “one month” in less than three weeks this time around, so now you have my feeble tale of these very delayed posts.
The study abroad group from my alma mater just wrapped up their experience here in Verona, and they recently invited me to tag along on their wine tour and tasting at Tommasi. Pictured here is the beginning of the tour of the facilities.
